With over two decades of experience in various roles, including massage therapy, education, and small business leadership, I've developed a deep understanding of how to empower individuals at different stages of life to achieve their goals.  My passion is helping people overcome what has been overwhelming & discover a path towards healing and wholeness. As a therapist and founder of Uppskatta Counseling, I offer a supportive space for deep listening and transformative growth.

 

Forget the stereotype of the silent, blank-faced therapist. I believe in genuine connection. I'll show up as my authentic self and create a space where you can do the same.

I have advanced training in evidence-based modalities: EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Ego-State IFS. I also use mindfulness and other somatic psychotherapies to identify negative thoughts and cycles. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and LGBTQ+ perinatal mental health.
